Wow, that is pretty much the opposite of cheap. I can't imagine spending that much on a proc unless I were writing it off as a business expense.

i'm much more excited by the upcoming AMD six-cores.
they will be cheap, and they will have turbo.
and they have a new platform in the form of the 8xx series northbridge and southbridge chipsets.
