Mouse speed

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a file or etc to slow down my mouse speed in game. Ive slowed it down on the desktop but this seems to have no effect in game. Just bought a new computer with win 7( I know, I know) and all high end componets (i7 960, 5850 xxx edition gpu) the works. The graphics and speed are amazing compared to my old pc but I cant touch the mouse without going from one edge of the screen to the other. Can I adjust this or do I just need to suck it up and get used to it?

IIRC RTW itself gives no option to manage mouse-speed and I'm not aware of a setting/preference entry in which you could change that manually. So you use some sort of gaming mouse? For example, my mouse can have several profiles of speed or buttons for games, is that possible for you?

As this is a RTW thing you should think about of skimming the RTW help-threads, or asking there for advice.

maybe you use your RTW (EB) resolution in much smaller ratio compared to your desktop (such as you had 2560 x 1536 pixels resolution on desktop, but play EB on default 1024 x 768 pixels), that way, your mouseys are twice as fast because their movement are tracked as per pixel...

I just use a normal, cheap mouse. I didnt have this problem on my old pc so I dont know. My resolution is the same for RTW and my desktop.(1920X1080) I guess its something Ill just have to get used to. Not a huge deal just a little frustrating. Ill check the RTW help threads. Thanks for the suggestions.
