I admit, I tend to like the single-mafia games myself.

And pizza, if you are ever searching for setup ideas, check finished games from mafiascum.net. That "pick your power" mini was from a setup there. For example, check the list of roles here:
http://www.mafiascum.net/wiki/index....Category:Roles
Game Description:
- Large Mafia Game
- 40+ players
- Standard Day/Night phases
- Town, Neutral, and Mafia factions
- Pro-town team not overpowered
- Investigation roles are not 100% effective
- Many players are basic townies
- Secret roles, hidden twist
Write-up description
- Each Day and Night phase will feature a different Planet or Location in the Lylat System and beyond
- Game will feature a storyline plot, the ending of which is determined by the outcome of the game
- Each writeup will include IMAGES and MUSIC.
- Each writeup will advance the storyline
- Removed: Write-up clues. No puzzles or hints in these. (Focus should be on standard mafia solving techniques)
- Upon death: Those who die will be named, but their alignment will not be revealed.
Anyone interested? I could host this instead of the Dark Knight one, which I am not finished designing and lack enthusiasm for presently.

With regard to type of games, here I like your Mad Scientist games. I enjoy mob wars a lot too, but those I can get from other people/elsewhere.
My game on Civfanatics could use a few more!: MNOTW XVII: The Cursed Blade!
Sigh, I need serious help; I saw this logo and the first words that popped into my head were "do a barrel roll!". Damn you, Beskar...
...anyways, this actually seems like a solid idea. There's a pretty big cast from the looks of things and there's sure to be lots to do even if you don't get to be Fox, Falco or any of the other characters. If you feel enthusiastic about it compared to Dark Knight, I say go for it. :3
"Blacker than a moonless night. Hotter and more bitter than Hell itself… that is coffee."
Oh, you!
There ATPG goes again, hijacking other peoples' game styles for his own benefit!

This looks great! I expect the write-ups shall be as grand as if I had done them myself...![]()
Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer: The Gameroom
Oh come now, Sigurd totally stole my idea for star wars large mafia game. It's on Pizzaguy's corner, for the Crust's sake.
But then I realized that I, too, had stolen that idea from others on this site who have hosted Star Wars mafiaz before me. And they, too, stole from the people before them, and so on, and so forth, until you go all the way back to George Lucas, who stole the idea from some college kid who was on acid, but can't remember, because he was on acid.
So, I didn't see dibs on Star Fox, and you don't own the video game genre, and even if you do, it's not copyrighted.

Slapstick horror with the mad scientist theme.
Basically, do a Murder Manor IV and let me be in it.
Arpeggio: A broken chord. Arpeggiate: Breaking up a chord. ArpeggiateTHIS, scumbag.
