Shutting up my macbook

Stupid thing stop talking. Quit when i ask you to, how do I turn this off, quit seems to a bit too hard for this smart machine.

QUIET I SAID IT, ****, STOP TALKING

NO it isn't smart when your browser keeps reseting to top position, it's unworkable. How do I turn this off.

Any number of these will do:

turn off the sound;
turn off/de-install whatever it is that annoys you;
install something that doesn't annoy you and use that instead.

Can't give much other advice/reply without some clues as to what is not shutting up and what is this unworkable browser you speak of.

Well a full reboot finally shut the thing up. Worst feature ever.

It started talking again, and I don't enjoy it's company. How do I shut up my macbook, last time a reboot did it.

FFS quit voiceover utility, that means I want it to stop, ****

Don't tempt me, it just won't shut up. I can press quit all I want but Apple simply doesn't understand I do no not want to use this, it's a hassle I want a working computer, not the latest Apple invention.

OH **** **** **** . QUIT MEANS QUIT. ALWAYS. **** **** ****

edit: and now a reboot does the trick again, there is a reason I payed some extra money, I want something that works you *****, I need something that works, burn in hell.

Lads, I understand the frustration some 0-1ial annoyance can bring indeed but please try to refrain from squirting around hastily. Grab some daisies and comfort yourself.
