I'm supposed to floss. But I do it so poorly that blood gushes from my gums and terrifies me when I brush my teeth shortly after. Brush, spit, and scream at the frothing red mass that I've hocked into my sink.

Wow... Y'know, instead of 4chan, they should make a new videoboard, where the only acceptable method of replying is by posting YouTube videos. That would hardly change much here, as a matter of fact. This would work even better in the Backroom. My eyes already get tired of reading the same party slogans all the time. I'd kill for someone to read that meaningless quackspeak to me, instead of burning my eyes out. I can live without the hearing, but not without the vision.

That's how it works? Makes sense. I try to get back into the habit every month or so, and that gives plenty of time for my gums to soften up, the wily bastards.
I'll make 'em hard, rugged things, I will.

Yeah, I realise flossing helps. It is just that, as I said, I bleed as a stuck pig.

I have been obsessive about brushing my teeth my entire life. My parents spent a lot of money to striaghten my teeth when I was youg (a lot as in they got fixed then went crooked again... 3 sets of braces, 4 surgeries and 2 retainers) so clean teeth were instilled in me.
Never a cavity.
But also never flossed and never had a teeth cleaning.
Went for a routine check up for my deployment. Doctor told me I had lovely teeth, but the backs of my teeth were the wost he had ever seen, and said it was because I didn't floss. The cleaning took over 90 minutes and was quite violent. I cried. Doc said I also had mild gum disease due to the built up crap on back of teeth making my gums recede.
I floss now.
