I'm not sure exactly who I would pick, but my first criteria would be choosing someone who is not mafia often, to give them a chance to play as mafia and my second criteria would be to pick someone who is not associated with me. It also gives me the opportunity to know that person better.
which would be what everyone is expecting and therefore a real mafiaking would do the opposite and go with the bigshots...
