I would like to be Naib again, if the people will agree. But even more than that I would dearly love for people to pay some regard to my lynch candidates for today.

#1: TheFlax, who continues to be ever-so-helpful over MSN. Yesterday's helpful suggestion was to protect Secura (or himself). Lovely ESP, that, just like Sasaki but in the opposite direction. He also offered to create a tie yesterday toward the end of the day, between white_eyes (then at four votes, including Flax's) and my choice (not his) of any of the several players then at two votes. Considerate, that, especially as poor white_eyes was a townie.

#2, who would have been my top candidate if Secura had not been killed and maybe still should be: Atheotes, who removed the option of any such tie creation by showing up to vote white_eyes only minutes before the end of the round. Who were you protecting, Atheotes? Atheotes has been scummy otherwise, as well, and I would greatly appreciate it if any of those who have discussed this with me in private or who have come to the same conclusion themselves would make the case, since I am away for the weekend and will not be able to.

As a bonus incentive for voting Atheotes, I already have a really nice death scene planned. But I'm sure I could come up with something for Flax as well. If you guys don't return me as Naib (and Diana is a fine choice if you don't), then please at least indulge me in this.

TheFlax tends to expect the worst concerning his own demise. In his mind though, Secura was an obvious kill choice, but he didn't see the kill on YLC coming. Since you had made up your mind, TheFlax had no chance to finish by saying that he preferred that you protect Secura rather than him. It is not proveable, but TheFlax is selfless like that. I also don't understand why TheFlax, if he was mafia, would warn you about one of his targets. I think he understand that anything he says on MSN can be used against him in the court of public thread opinion.

TheFlax realises he pushed for killing White_Eyes, he did vote for him in two rounds. Yet, by then, TheFlax had serious doubts about his very fallible instincts. Unfortunately, he didn't know who to choose from all the candidates at two votes. I have it from good authority that he was simply trying to avoid another bad lynch by giving more options to the Naib. Of course, atheotes made all of this talk pointless after only 15 min by voting for the defunct Mr. Eyes.

I had not jotted down atheotes as particularly scummy, so I would like to hear more about this "case" against him. I would look for the evidence myself, but since this is not a weekday, I will be away from the computer almost all day. In the meanwhile I will indulge you on your second choice since I cannot in good conscience vote for TheFlax, who is a known innocent to me.

If you wanted a tie, why didnt you say it in the thread along with any case you had? Surely that would have been a better way to achieve that instead of hoping no one votes for any of these people...

But i do agree that Flax is behaving outside his norm...and is in my list of suspicious people along with Beskar, Tincow and yourself
