In an nutshell, you weren't going to be lynched anytime soon. You had no meaningful opposition.

Night 7 - Conclusion
Captain Blackadder was sitting in his room enjoying a glass of cognac and Bram Stokers' "Dracula" when suddenly, a figure wearing a dark cloak entered.
"Good evening," Captain Blackadder said.
The cloaked figure came near and suddenly he said in amazement: " My God, what's happened to your neck?"
"Erm, er, well, well, well, well, they're love bites, actually!" Captain Blackadder answered.
"Looks more like dog bites to me."
"Well, yes, yes, she was, erm, a bit of an animal!" the Captain answered, slightly embarrassed.
"Really, Captain!"
"Oh yes!"
"Fight to the death, eh!"
"Oh yes. Well, as my tutor, Old Bubbleface used to say, "Make love and be merry, for tomorrow you may catch some disgusting skin disease."" the Captain answered and he laughed softly, an insincere smile on his face.
"Actually, I'd be prepared to swear they were dog bites," the dark cloaked figure said.
"They are not dog bites! She was very attractive."
"Yeah: shiny coat, wet nose, clear eyes..."
The Captains' eyes narrowed a little.
"Enough of this! What are you doing in my room anyway?"
The cloaked figure didn't answer, but looked at the Captain's book. The killer started to giggle.
"Oh no, "Dracula". Hahahahaha!"
"What's so funny about it?"
"It's the most pointless book since "How to Learn French"... was translated into French."
Captain Blackadder didn't look too pleased.
"Anyway, let's get this over with, shall we?"
"Huh?" Captain Blackadder answered.
The attacker quickly jumped forward and swung a wooden club against the Captains' skull.
Feeling dizzy, the Captain looked up and saw a blade coming down.
The killer briefly looked at the decapacitated body and then left the hotel room.

Greyblades was standing on his balcony, watching the moon shining over the Alhambra.
He was in complete harmony and practising his sword skills. In his mind, he was at the Dojo at Mount Crenel.
Concentrated, he performed the roll attack, a skill he used to learn to the students at the Dojo. He smiled when he remembered that strange boy, what was his name? Link, yes, he was called Link. A weird name. An interesting kid, rumour had it he could transform in a wolf.
Greyblades grinned. As a vampire hunter, experienced in dealing with the supernatural, he knew Link couldn't transform in a wolf; he was just a kid playing too much Nintendo games.
As he was continuing to meditate and practising his skills, he didn't notice the dark figure sneaking up on him.
The figure drew a dagger and waited until Greyblades sat down, to meditate. Slowly, the killer came near. Standing very close behind Greyblades, the attacker used the knife to slice his throat. While his life was slowly gulping out of his artery, the attacker pierced the knife through Greyblades' eyeball, right into his brains.

It was raining heavily. The lightning storm started an hour ago and all inhabitants of the city of Granada were staying inside. Most people couldn't remember such a heavy storm.
Only those touched by the curse knew the true meaning of this lightning storm...
A strange scream could be heard, a mix of anger and frustration, with an undertone of fear.
"This cannot be! It is impossible!"
Then, the lightning storm stopped as suddenly as it had begun...

Day 8
Diana Abnoba was impatiently waiting for the last dagger to arrive at the meeting.
"Finally," she said, looking a bit annoyed at the late comers.
"Again, we lost two men last night. This is getting problematic, brothers and sisters. We need to get our act together and it has to happen as soon as possible!"
Diana paused.
"There was also this storm. It is unexplainable. Suddenly it was there and 30 minutes later, it was gone again. Something similar has happened in the past; our archives mention such storms and it usually meant trouble. Big trouble. But let us not waste too much time."

This is a fine choice for a lynch, as would be Kagemusha or TinCow.
Vote: Kagemusha
It's time the biased news anchors be put off the air.
I would suggest that you lynch
spL1tp3r50naL1ty.
His votes so far were:
Day 2: did not vote
Day 3: did not vote
Day 4: abstain
Day 5: abstain
Day 6: did not vote
Day 7: did not vote
He does not bother voting, at all. There's also these comments he made after I posted the post count spreadsheet:
Night 4, post #734.
He's suddenly interested in the game, enough to compile a list of name from the spreadsheet.

And post #736 after Renata asked if he thinks she should vig someone:

I'm not sure I can rightfully suggest anyone to vig right now, looking at my own track record in this game. Just nothing that there seem to be quite a few people who are almost uncharacteristically lurking...
Though again, pot, kettle, black, and all that.
These posts and his votes sent two different messages. He is interested when a spreadsheet shows him as pretty inactive (ans thus a potential lynch target), but he never bothers to vote. His last posts were useless and uncompromising, but of course good enough to evade a Wrath of God.
With half our people dead, I think it's time to start lynching some lurkers who might be using inactivity as a cover.

I want to see lots of discussion today (19 still alive and all 3 mafia among them) (We only have about 5 rounds left to get this right).
Need to hear more from (put pressure on) the following:
1. Niklas
2. Beskar
3. Split
4. Now that Scienter is back more from her please
5. Methos
These are just some of the players, that need to participate more. Lets get some pressure on them, as well as, the others already mentioned in thread.
Nice find.
Unvote; Vote: Splitpersonality
Sasaki Kojiro 01:59 05-24-2010
Yeah, go for split.
Beefy187 05:47 05-24-2010
I suspect Beskar less after tonights death result. But...
Vote: Beskar
Tomorrows should be even more interesting....
Scienter 12:14 05-24-2010
fos: TinCow and Kagemusha. Kagemusha's write ups are highly amusing and fun to read, which might be the reason he's still alive. If he's a vampire, being funny in the thread is a smart way to avoid suspicion. TinCow is always suspicious.

So, the dead guys wanna lynch split. Hmm. They, though deceased, are participating more than Mr. personality, so I give them the benefit of the doubt.

I must be honest that I haven't been paying a ton of attention to this game. Scienter can confirm that I've been distracted at home for the last several days with work-related stuff. I've also been spending my free time playing Civ IV and haven't really put much thought into this game. I apologize for this situation, but it's not likely going to change for the next week at least until work stuff is resolved, and possibly not for the rest of the game. I think Jedi mafia drained me a bit when it comes to thread analysis.
Vote: splitpersonality
Trusting those that are paying more attention than me.

I've given up on there being any substantive discussion today. Case against atheotes is pending.

Whaddya know, somebody agrees with me.

Actually, I'd like to hear
Renata's take on the Atheotes case, as well as her night actions as naib now that she's no longer in that position.
I have no problem with the Split wagon, but I'm also percieving Atheotes as possible scum, so I'll
vote:Atheotes to keep it an option.
I'm sorry I've been off for a couple of days, so I've had some more pages to catch up on. I'd like to hear more from
Kagemusha, as well. I mean, serious posts in addition to the (hilarious!) Saharan News... I don't know about TC, I was very wrong about him in SW Mafia so I'm not sure I should trust the slightly scummy vibe I'm getting from him

Seconded; it's obvious that they weren't successful (t'is hard to second-guess the mafia, huh?), but they should be shared nonetheless.
I think both atheotes and split are good choices.
I've talked to Renata and the gist of the case against atheotes is firstly his voting pattern. Everyone he's voted for has ended up dead, 3 of them by lynch after joining a bandwagon, 1 by night kill. He avoided voting twice. Then there is he vote on White_Eyes which Renata mentioned already, breaking the potential for an easy tie.
On the other hand, there's split with IIRC only abstain votes and mostly not voting, another person barely avoiding the WOG in even worse fashion is AVSM.
Since there are already a lot of votes for split, I'm going to go with atheotes.
Vote: atheotes
EDIT: Just remembered that AVSM has been WOGed, disregard that part of the post.
