Default Is EB forum membership overzealous?

Simple question, simple answer. Substitute "censorship" for "membership."

I have no idea what you're asking, so how am I supposed to answer it?

Oh right, so this is the guy who complains that the AI gets unlimited money (despite it being necessary for the game to work), does not understand the word "contemporary", refuses to go look up the term "Nietzschian" when he doesn't understand it, totally has the hots for Caesar, and takes offence at the term "n00b" (LOL).

    In that case, no.

You see what I mean Subotan? You just based everything you said on the lamest argument in the world.

    1) Racial slurs are a big no-no; please remove that picture, ARCHIPPOS.
    2) .Org policy is to be discussed a) with the moderator in question through pm; b) in the Watchtower.
    3) Personal attacks are not allowed at the .Org.

This is dumb. SlickNica, I've been here for a year and a half and I've only gotten one or two of my posts deleted. And after thinking about it, I could see why the mods decided to delete my posts. You've been here less than a month, you've already gotten three threads closed down and from the looks of things, you're well on your way to getting a fourth locked. Instead of asking if people are too sensitive, or if the mods are overzealous, maybe you should look inward and ask yourself what you're doing that offends people and convinces the mods that they should lock your threads. -M

I don't think forum policy was/is injust or too strict. (and I'm saying that as a member of the Romaioktonoi - who have felt the judgement of the forums quite well..)
And it is seriously not overzealous! I've seen worse on other forums.

    (p.s: voted NO of course)

He feels censored because Ludens clamped down two discussions as it started running off track and Foot closed his last poll. And I suspect that they will refer this kind of discussion to the Tavern and close it here, so he will feel even more slighted.

Take a chill-pill Slick, the moderators keep a hard line for a reason. If you feel censored... Consider whether you wish to discuss in a civilised manner with no-one going for the man, but only the argument- or whether you want a Youtube-like discussion.
Personally, as an old grumpy fart, and as an academic, I prefer the style of discussions we have on universities and scholarly magazines like "Historisk Tidsskrift" here in Denmark. But I am silly enough to often get involved in discussions with flaming ignorant twats (the ultra-nationalists are the worst when you discount the trolls) in my attempts to enlighten the unenlightened masses there.

So chill, do not be so high-strung, chill and use all that energy of your constuctively; you have a lot, and a lot on your mind, channel it into constructivity.
