Exchanging the Sea file for performance?

Hi Folks! Sorry I have to aks, but I couldnt find anything by searching the forum. I might be wrong but wasn't there a file around the org, which lowers the lod of the sea, so you can have a better performance on weaker pcs?

Are you refering to the vanilla sea-graphic switch at the EB website? Despite the dramatic change in looks, it does not actually affect performance as it is the same size as the EB file.

If you haven't already, turn off campaign shadows as they cause a lot of slowdown.

Yeah, that is really what makes the computers run so slow on the strat map, particularly in the Northern regions where you have the vast forests.
