My favorite would probably be Shrimp and then soft shell crab followed by alligator.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
Prawns, crab, shrimp, tuna, salmon, cod, mackeral (smoked is lovely) ,haddock & scampi are all nice, but are the only seafoods I've tried (other than sushi, raw versions of what were already mentioned)

I seafood I eat it.
You got to eat Gator? Lucky bastard.
Soft shell crab is definitely my favorite. I also have a taste for sushi, but it's much too expensive. Best sushi I've ever had, by the way, comes from a sushi restaurant in my hometown; it's called the Yum Yum roll, and it's a wrap of tuna, salmon, yellowtail and possibly something else, with cream cheese -- and then it's deep-fried and served with some kind of sweet sauce and seaweed. Never had anything like it; I've seen other deep-fried sushi, but it's always battered, which tastes terrible; half of what makes the Yum Yum roll so good is the crispy rice with the sweet sauce dripped over it.
I also really wish I could get my seafood fresh-caught; I hear that the reason all fish pretty much tastes the same is that the different flavors disappear quickly, as in within a day. That's another reason I like sushi -- when the fish is raw, you can still taste some difference in what you're eating (it's not much, but it's there, especially in the texture.)

I enjoy fish. Shellfish are too difficult, and should be left for the otters. What vermin.

I heard alligator tasted like chicken, then again, EVERYTHING exotic tastes like chicken, or so the people eating it often say.![]()
Lobster is delicious, but not so easy to catch. Crabs taste pretty good, and are not so hard to catch.
Runes for good luck:
