What i'd like to know is whether we can make the AI use them without skirmishing since personally i never use them that way. In fact, the short range of the grenades makes it nigh impossible for them to throw their grenades effectively whilst in skirmishing mode. The same applies for handgunners attempting to fire on another unit, both units are better off not skirmishing.

I notice they have a section in their parameters which may or may not be linked to this:

However, i also noticed that many units, which don't skirmish on the battlefield have similar values under SKIRMISH? From looking through the various units the possible variables are for these parameters are 0,1 and 2, but quite what each of these represents i am unsure??

Can anyone shed any light on these parameters and what they do in-game?
