Hello,

Nice forum.

I just joined to find out if we will ever get a new total war game build around hand to hand combat, as I miss the action of RTW and alike, not sure im loving NTW after playing for a while, certainly not as good as RTW IMHO.

Welcome to the Org, virtualsalmon!

While there's obviously no way we can "know" for certain whether or not the Total War series will return to a period that features melee fighting, I'm quite confident in saying that it will happen sooner or later -- probably sooner. Many fans have been clamoring for a follow-up to both Rome and Shogun, and I believe it's only a matter of time before we get one.

I dearly hope so - RTW is such an epic - I dont feel the same way with the ETW and NTW...
