Help from an admin
so i am trying to change my post name and however i am unable to do so.
how found this however when i click on it, it only gives me option to change email and passwordMembers can also now change their username without the assistance of an admin. See the Edit Email, Password & Username section to do this.

Hey M._Sir Jai.
It used to be that way, but there have been some abuses of the ability to change the username and therefore it was disabled again. So there's nothing wrong with your account, it's just that those lazy moderators didn't update the rules.
Just PM TosaInu the new username you'd like and he'll take care of it (could take a couple of days, so be patient, our glorious leader is a bit busy lately).

I dislike how this appears to give me a bad image.
