It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

I also really hate this, but for me I think I hate the lack of general courtesy. I have no problem with sharing my stuff, but it's rude not to ask first.

Really? I hate slow drivers in the right lane

On the mobile phone side of things, I personally find the bloody things to be really annoying. I usually have it on silent or switch it off unless I'm at work, and I hate it when people get really worried or act like there's something wrong with me when I ignore my phone. It's a tool that I use. It doesn't tell me what to do, I tell it what to do!

Oh these mobile phones, damn them to hell. One minute you are having a great conversation, then that blasted thing goes off and it's instant priority for some reason, no matter the time no matter the place even if the time and the place is a romantic candlelight dinner. OH HIIIIIIIIIIII

I really hate he lack of manners and politeness just like some others in this thread..

I mean, do people really have to push themselves into elevator although they see that there is no room for them?

Mobiles placed on the table are just plain rude.

My biggest peeve would be Facebook friends who literally have to post a status on everything and in every five minutes. C'mon we all have them. Sorry to offend if any of you are like that, but I don't really need to know about that bad rash that keeps bugging you or that your granma is over for tea and bikkies.

A couple of weeks ago one woman who is not so-much a friend these days posted as her status "My daughter got bitten by a spider couple of hours ago, I wonder what I should do. Her foot is all swollen and she has been throwing up ever since." - TAKE HER TO THE #$%$% HOSPITAL INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT FACEBOOK YOU DAFT #@$.

    wow sorry needed to vent.

On the otherhand going on to Lamebook is good for a read.

I used to be like that myself, now I limit myself to two updates per 24-hours unless I have a really good reason for more. I still get people complaining, but sod 'em

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
