    Default BSOD KERNEL-STACK_INPAGE_ERROR

Just thought I post this here, to see if anyone has any advice...

Recently, after running EB for reasonably long sessions, I get crashes to Blue Screen, with the above error report basically meaning:- A REQUIRED PAGE
OF KERNEL DATA COULD NOT BE READ FROM THE PAGING FILE INTO MEMORY:

I have incresased Virtual Memory, have run CHKDSK with instructions to repair (it found no bad sectors or blocks), ran memtest, all seemed fine.

Even though ONLY EB produces any faults whatsoever (other games run fine forever), I'm suspecting an intermittent error with the Mother board, as probably only EB pushes my system to its limits.

The PC is approx 5 yrs old, and I'm almost certainly buying a new dedicated gaming rig at the end of next month....but for the meantime, any thoughts or suggestions?

Would anyone else confer the bad motherboard diagnosis for example?

    Thanks.

I would deny the option of a hardware failure. EB uses a lot of RAM, so after long sessions the RAM/Pagefile is full with trash from the RTW engine. Quit after 2-3 hours of playing, this should prevent similar errors.

Thanks for the reply....I forgot to add, that I have been also getting very frequent CTDs, where the game refused to load even basic battles. An early trial campaign, which refused to load a battle (and CTD, then BSOD) the other night, EVEN after a complete system reboot, now loaded quite normally this afternoon.

Note that I've regularly played mammoth 10-12+ hr sessions of EB before, with virtually no CTDs and never ever had a Blue Screen crash on this PC until last week....

Nevermind anyways, went to price up a new machine this afternoon, and will probably purchase in a couple of weeks :)
