    Default Palmistry-Study of palms

Firstly, thank you for the contributions in the "Hot Hands" thread.
I believe they came up with the catch phrase. Even though my mum haven't really told me which one they chose.. I must keep asking.

    Anyway. Studying palms.
Its a popular practice in Japan, where they look at peoples palms and find out what kind of person they are. And what kind of future awaits them.
I'm not a fan of another popular one... Blood types. but I do like the Zodiacs and palm reading.

So I thought I might share mine, and tell you about it as far as I know.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Left hand first.
I have a reasonable life line, head line and heart line. Not a professional on exact shape and what they means though. But they are reasonably long so I'm assuming thats good.
I have a dot beneaf my fourth finger. Apparently it represents excellence in financial side. I don't have to worry much about money.
However I have a gap between fingers which means money will fall out of my hands. So basically, I'll get money, but it will go somewhere else.

Gap between my life line and heart line is a rare one.
Its called the KY line over here. KY (Kuuki Yomenai) means that I don't read the air. In another words, I say things completely unrelated, or unsuited for the atmosphere at the unexpected moments. Spontaneous might be a good word to describe my behavior.

    Right hand
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

My heart line and head line forming one straight line. Apparently thats rare and its a line of the conquerors. Which is totally true in TW games
Chain shaped line at the start of my life line represents a series of tough events until my mid life. But thankfully, nothing unbearable happened to me so far.

I'm going to merry twice and have three children.

Also apparently my gut instincts are often correct. I should use more of that in mafia games.

    What are your palms like?

You mean, like loudly singing "The Final Countdown" in the terminal section of a hospital?

EDIT: At first I thought this thread was about the study of palm trees.

Like coming in the room wearing a handsome suit and a cheeky smile, when the two girls are fighting over you.

I don't have a whole lot to contribute to the subject, but when I was younger I had my palms read.

I'm a skeptic of course, I didn't believe it predicted anything. However, it was a nice feeling to have someone hold my hand and talk about me, and say mostly positive things.

I'm for it as long as there are pretty women who read palms.

It was a pretty good opening gambit in the bars I frequented 25 years ago, too, for the same reasons - but with me doing the "reading" of women's palms. Most were eager to know their future.

I wonder how many of them found "romance with an attractive man" in their future...

How many of them would find themselves in the arms of a kukri-wielding moderator? :P

I used to lend money to people, but never really bothered to get it back.
I think I've wasted at least 50 bucks in the last 4 years or so..

Hey, before Diana I was a lonely man who, if a woman held my hand, that was the highlight of my year.

I'm entitled to just a little bit of pretending to be interested in palmistry so I can experience human touch and see a pretty girl.

I am trying not to picture Kukri wielding himself.... agh! Too late! My eyes, the goggles do nothing!

Surprisingly, about 50%. Well above my usual .010 batting average with the "Soo... you come here often?" line. Mind you, those were 1980's women, in a previous, un-married life.

Why not both? That's what Kukri used to do, right?

Oh don't worry, an extremely attractive friend of mine had been browsing here while I was baking the steaks and she gave you a ten for manliness. And she's more then a little bit hot. Seriously. Also a bit dangerous what more could you possibly want. Not for me though
