I will post the results of the challenges soon. Must say, one of you was really-really lucky!
Lord of Lent 18:38 24/04/10
Was it me, I-K?
EDIT: Glad everything is fixed!
Ibn-Khaldun 20:11 24/04/10
Yes you were. You won 3 events(though 2 were very narrow victories).
Welp, looks like Gildo's getting Dull/Charismatic/Unvigourous.
Ibn-Khaldun 19:58 27/04/10
To be honest, I can't wait the results of the first battle! TheFlax, care to end this turn?
(I hope you fight it out before the next Council Session!)

I'm at work right now, I'll end the turn when I get home.
Ibn-Khaldun 17:28 28/04/10
TheFlax, very good stories!
Starting to think that I should have taken one of the generals when I had the chance!

Thanks, the first story felt a bit rushed since I'm pretty busy right now. I'm hoping they start adding a bit of intrigue to the game.
I feel for you about the general thing, having played mostly an agent in LotR and KotF.
History thread has been updated to the current turn.
Stories for the two battles this turn might be slower in coming, I'll see what I can do.
Also, by my calculations this is the last turn before our second council session!
Ibn-Khaldun 15:08 29/04/10
Yes, You are correct. This is the last turn before the Council Session.

I moved him there, with his army, because you posted you wanted to attack it and I wanted to avoid too many generals lagging behind. The attack is still up to you, but you are now right next to Campus Quadi.
Lord of Lent 14:30 30/04/10
Oh, thanks!
Ibn-Khaldun 08:47 02/05/10
RC discussion thread is up. Forgot to create it when I started the Council Session. I hope all discussion over the Rules will take place there in the future.
Ibn-Khaldun 22:35 03/05/10
Ok, the Council Session will be open for another 12 hours. After that I will end it and will post the poll.
Are we still on for that poll? Even though I'm moving tomorrow, I'll try to drop in and vote.
Ibn-Khaldun 22:25 04/05/10
I kept the Council Session open hoping that LoL's Edict will get another second but that did not happen. I'm going to put up the poll for the Rule change now.
Yeah, its hard to get two seconds with this small pool of players. Perhaps we should PM those waiting for a character when a council session pops up, it could also be a good time to advertise. Sort of like: "Come and help shape the destiny of the Vandals, blah blah blah." with a short sort list of the current issues, links to important stuff going on and what not. A bit like a newsletter now that I think of it.
Ibn-Khaldun 09:09 05/05/10
That is a good idea! I also thought after I put up voting poll that perhaps we should change the rule so that it needs only 1 person to second edicts that are proposed by people with avatars. This makes our life a lot easier during the Council sessions as long as we get some more players. And perhaps we might even get some edicts passed as laws!
Sorry to report but I'm going to step out of this game for a short while. I've just got too much work on and in my spare time I've got several LRP and Airsoft events to either write plot for or organise. I will look to come back in a week or so when I get some more spare time and perhaps take a more active character if one is available.
Ibn-Khaldun 22:23 05/05/10
So, Oza will be an open agent then?
Lord of Lent 10:53 06/05/10
I am travelling to the Azores today and I will not be back until saturday the 15th. I will have no acces to internet when I am there, so I will not be able to do anything for VI until I am back. If the third Council Session would have started before I am back, please extend the session time so I am able to respond.
Ibn-Khaldun 11:17 06/05/10
Could you please update your SOT so that I could move your avatar and army. Otherwise he will be left where he currently is.
Ibn, don't I get a reward for sacking Acquincum?

Also, I haven't forgotten about writing a battle report for the sacking of Aquincum, I've just been rather busy with moving this week, which I am now done doing. (Well, there are still a lot of boxes to unpack

) So I'm aiming to do it at the latest by Saturday.
Lord of Lent 15:59 06/05/10
I already did, Ibn.

You, great king of the Vandals, sacked this Roman city called Aquincum. You may now choose your reward.
Options:
1) Visimar receives GoodCommander(next level), GoodSiegeAttacker and HaleAndHearty traits.
2) Visimar converts to christianity and receives Christian, ChristianArianHeresy and PoliticsSkill traits.

Btw, TheFlax, that save in the "Treasurer Reports thread" is from the Winter of 367 and not from the Summer of 368.

I'll take the first option please.
As for the save, I must have forgotten to press the end turn, but I'm pretty sure all the moves were done at the end of turn.

I will just end that turn then.
Btw, Visimars influence is only 1! That Overseer ancillary is dragging his influence down.
