Strangely, I agree with YLC
It doesn't make any sense that TinCow could receive the cat and then just pass it on, roleblocking someone that same night. It's more likely he himself was roleblocked, and tried to frame someone.

Yes, I do unfortunately seem to have implicated myself by going after YLC. In my defense, there is someone out there who can confirm that I was given the cat during the day phase, not last night. If I was a mafioso, my partner would have known about the cat before it was even time to submit orders.

It's worth asking who gave TinCow the cat. Might shed some light on the issue.

So you were given the cat at night then...sorry that was confusing me, because you said it had been given to you during the day.
From the PM posted it seems like it can be passed on whenever, and you are only roleblocked while you have it. So, since YLC admits to ending up with it, then obviously he was the one who was roleblocked.
Ergo, come day phase his mason partner should claim or he should be lynched.
No, I still think it's proper to say I was given it during the day. As I understand it, the previous owner submitted the orders to give it to me during the day phase while we were voting. While the PM I got making me the cat guy was technically in the night phase because it was sent after the write-up was posted, calling it a night action would be like saying that a person is killed by a day action because it's only revealed after the day starts. The cat can apparently be passed on in any phase, day or night, and the target receives it after that phase's write-up.
Exactly. Which would mean that you had it last night. You sent orders to pass it on at that time, but YLC did not receive it until not-morning.
