Carnuntum is barely defended, even the North of Italy is almost defenseless, and this is an opportunity we have to seize while we head West. Now that we are at war with the Romans, we have to hit them hard repeatedly, before they mobilize and crush us under their weight in numbers. Furthermore, every Roman city we sack fills our coffers and those denars will be of great use when we finally settle.
