    Part 2

The next star cut threw a part of Captain Blackadder's Skull, blood dripping everywhere, he dived out of the doorway and picked up a hat stand to fend off the next attacks, meanwhile Andres was busy fighting off some sort of sponge-textured monster with resemblances to Double A, Andres was leaning out of the window using his eyes to unnerve the Double A monster, whilst the Double A ripped the slate roof tiles off and began to throw them at Andres, shattering the window completely, the glass shattering in his face. He fell backward onto Kagemusha, who fell into a starfish, the horde of starfish by then had started to eat away at the flesh of Kagemusha.

As Captain Blackadder helped him up, a live grenade was thrown into the room, each and every person made for the exit, except the poor Double A monster, who was stuck on the roof, the explosion sent him flying to the ground, a force of evil now dead...

Lord Thermal, although suffering from lamp injuries was well aware that Sasaki threw the grenade, he had always had troubles with this servant, even though he had previously thought him to be a moderator. As each person was now on the ground floor, Thermal dashed down even further into the basement, Sasaki made a run for the pantry, whilst the innocent servants didn't catch where he went, they all opted for the games room.

The starfish all followed...they simply wouldn't give up and so they had to be killed...Kagemusha retrieved a snooker Que from the room, whilst Captain Blackadder and Andres each grabbed a handful of darts, one by one, the vicious starfish were gaining ground, a few leached at there foes faces and the blows were doing minimal damage, it seemed as if they would be overwhelmed, luckily however science prevailed as the starfish realized they needed water to live, all of which slowed down and died from moisture loss. Starfish carcass littered the games room, but the fight was far from over yet....

    Part 3

Lord Thermal jumped into the room with a menacing 'HOOYYYYY HA' unfortunately, he was still under the impression that the starfish were alive.

    "woops...."

"You stay there you! I thought we killed you YESTERDAY"

With that the alleged Lord thermal ran down the hall trying to find a place to hide, but clearly unfamiliar with the manor, he found himself trapped in a corner, surrounded by 3 angry servants armed with snooker Ques and Darts, "Lord Thermal" started to panic and his skin burnt away, what lay beneath was the bodies of Sigurd, Beskar and General Hankerchief with a note attached:

"Sorry, we couldn't make this game"

    Nobody got it...

Nobody had time to get it...

Sasaki was now wielding a katana, just where were these weapons coming from!?

He lunged toward the 3 servants, scraping against there attire and smashing ornaments as he went, his expertise with the sword was visible through his swift blows and defensive stance. However Andres burned his eyes into Sasaki and despite wielding a massive sword, was no longer inclined to use it, his hands shaking in terror, Captain Blackadder quickly retrieved the weapon in an act of bravery, which was then passed to another katana expert. Kagemusha, to do the final deed. Sasaki fell to the floor as a beheaded man....

As the 3 servants went back upstairs Yaseikhaan had come back to life as the dairymaid no longer plagued his dreams, the 4 servants slept that night and in the morning, Methos, Secura, Johnhughthom and Warman were back to there old selves, some how, some way, everything had sorted itself out, with only one innocence to be truly mourned, the tragedy of Renata (the Tincow). Lord Thermal's 100th Birthday really did go off in a bang as his body was laid to rest and the starfish removed. When the bodies were removed it seemed that the Lord Thermal impostor consisted of nothing more than the bad spirits of those who couldn't play....the manor was now a happy place and fun was everywhere and happiness lived forever in the manor of love and peace and hope...and love.

    Hahaha, I was right!

I went with a gut feeling in the first round and the second, and picked out scum on both occasions; I'm glad my fellow townies felt the same way! <3

Loved the writeups Thermy, sorry we cracked it so soon. :<

    Overview:

I feel I made this quite town bias, I think the complexity of the game got in the way massive amounts, which hindered it a little, I thank everyone for there support of this game, it was a mad idea and everything about it was made even crazier (I don't have a starfish obsession by the way), thanks for playing, not one of my best efforts, but still.

That isn't to say I think mafia couldn't have won, Secura did well and Renata's results really did make it look suspicious, as Chaotix was night kill immune, I guess people had already latched on by then that Chaotix's role was strange.

    ----

Thanks Secura I wasn't sure how this one would go, people didn't really know what tactics to use, I didn't know if anyone would see TosaInu as a suspect or not, but I think Sasaki would have been perceived as one too, I think I gave chaotix and Double A some pretty hard roles to keep in check, given that Double A wasn't even classified as mafia fully (he should have been) though it didn't make any difference.

That's insane, did everyone have a secret counterpart?

Chaotix got nailed because he was shown to be immune to night votes :(

Yes, each counterpart was voting at night, like you did, unforunately as there was only one night no body really got to use there abilities, other than Renata, but hers was default.

What helped a lot was that many players didn't understand the idea of hiding the alter ego. After night 1 we knew who everyone was, which made it much easier. Had chaotix hid among the Double A votes it would have been a bit more difficult. I had no idea who TosaInu was, so until Secura explained it to me, I was at a loss. Excellent job on both lynches Secura!

Yeah, I was pretty much dead before I could put up a defense. Good game concept, although the revealing of the night vote tally to one of the townies really made it impossible for me to survive.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the night votes, or the day votes with our alter ego as showing. If you're talking about the latter, our role PM said as much, which is the only reason why I switched over to vote Double A.

I'm surprised that *wasn't* why people were voting for Chaotix. I had no idea how the mafia could function in a game like this, but something like that stands out enough to be worth a try, it seems. But Chaotix being shown as TosaInu and Tosa not being a mafia player was also suspicious in a way; I gather that's why Secura and Methos voted for him.

I really loved the basic setup of the game, with the secret partnerships. The way it worked out wasn't quite as satisfying; we were all too clueless about the setup. I think I thought at one point there was no mafia, it was just a free-for-all in disguise. I'd love to do something like this again with a little tweaking. *waves at TinCow*

It was down to Methos that I was able to learn what was actually going on with the game; he asked me how things were going with Andres, which naturally elicited a huge "WTF?" from me, as I hadn't really grasped that I was teamed up with the red-eyed one until Methos told me that he'd spoken to Captain Blackadder and proceeded to explain things to me.

From there it was simply a case of putting two-and-two together and questioning why TosaInu was in the game (and explaining who he was to Methos!) and then voting accordingly. The vote tally posted by Renata, I have to say, was largely ignored as I wasn't really certain even at that point where those votes had come from. Chaotix had been my gut instinct from the moment I saw his vote with TosaInu's name in it's place, but Methos explaining the game's premise basically sealed it for me.

When Secura and I were talking, she had no idea that Tincow Andres was her partner. She thought his name was just created for her alter ego. She said she even sent in her vote during the night. At first I thought she was lying to me, but as we talked I realized she was being honest (I hope I'm right in that). I'm wanting to try this game again with everyone realizing what is going on. The problem with that is we'll expect a massive bandwagon every round.

Edit: Wrong partner and we cross-posted.

Thermy can confirm it for you; during the first night phase, I think I sent him a vote in the belief that I was playing as Andres during the night phases and as myself during the day. xD

Also, Double A wasn't mafia per se... he seemed to be a serial killer or something, intended to remove both town and scum.

I agree with Renata, the game would have at least been a tad more fair if you could only reveal the tally when you were alive, however I didn't consider this in my rules and made a quick error to make a town biased game even more town biased
