Yeah, I was pretty much dead before I could put up a defense. Good game concept, although the revealing of the night vote tally to one of the townies really made it impossible for me to survive.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the night votes, or the day votes with our alter ego as showing. If you're talking about the latter, our role PM said as much, which is the only reason why I switched over to vote Double A.

After looking at Renata's night vote tally, I see what chaotix means. Chaotix had the most votes, yet Renata died. I'm embarrassed to say it, but I totally missed that....

I'm surprised that *wasn't* why people were voting for Chaotix. I had no idea how the mafia could function in a game like this, but something like that stands out enough to be worth a try, it seems. But Chaotix being shown as TosaInu and Tosa not being a mafia player was also suspicious in a way; I gather that's why Secura and Methos voted for him.

I really loved the basic setup of the game, with the secret partnerships. The way it worked out wasn't quite as satisfying; we were all too clueless about the setup. I think I thought at one point there was no mafia, it was just a free-for-all in disguise. I'd love to do something like this again with a little tweaking. *waves at TinCow*

It was down to Methos that I was able to learn what was actually going on with the game; he asked me how things were going with Andres, which naturally elicited a huge "WTF?" from me, as I hadn't really grasped that I was teamed up with the red-eyed one until Methos told me that he'd spoken to Captain Blackadder and proceeded to explain things to me.

From there it was simply a case of putting two-and-two together and questioning why TosaInu was in the game (and explaining who he was to Methos!) and then voting accordingly. The vote tally posted by Renata, I have to say, was largely ignored as I wasn't really certain even at that point where those votes had come from. Chaotix had been my gut instinct from the moment I saw his vote with TosaInu's name in it's place, but Methos explaining the game's premise basically sealed it for me.

When Secura and I were talking, she had no idea that Tincow Andres was her partner. She thought his name was just created for her alter ego. She said she even sent in her vote during the night. At first I thought she was lying to me, but as we talked I realized she was being honest (I hope I'm right in that). I'm wanting to try this game again with everyone realizing what is going on. The problem with that is we'll expect a massive bandwagon every round.

Edit: Wrong partner and we cross-posted.

Thermy can confirm it for you; during the first night phase, I think I sent him a vote in the belief that I was playing as Andres during the night phases and as myself during the day. xD

Also, Double A wasn't mafia per se... he seemed to be a serial killer or something, intended to remove both town and scum.

Yes Secura, Yes again Secura, Double A was a sort of serial killer minus the killer....

I agree with Renata, the game would have at least been a tad more fair if you could only reveal the tally when you were alive, however I didn't consider this in my rules and made a quick error to make a town biased game even more town biased

I may have explained the game to you Secura, but its because of you that we won it. You nailed both mafia!
