A young boy named Alexandros was born.

Glory to his family, the Ephors predicted a great destiny for that young boy

They said his destiny was to destroy a great empire.

Alas, the heavens bid him to crush The One True Barbaropolis that is Roma, as a test to his abilities.

But many challenges lies on the road ahead, and to able to crush a nation one needs an army.

Still very young, Alexandros showed incredible fighting, as well as mental skill. Indeed, that boy might just be the ''Chosen One''. Day after day, he restlessly trained, for the conquest that would, one day, change the face of the world (if succeeded)

but before he could impact the world, the Ephors decided that it would best if he were to study the movement of chickens

in order to create unprecedented strategies on the battle field... or the dreaded tactic of the northen Berserkers, that of ''the headless chicken charge''

Lol the Ephors are quite wacky ey?

Alexandros also took notice of that the chickens from the western parts of Hellas were more sickly and tasted worse than their cousins in northern and eastern Hellas,
this of course was due to the foul barbaroi winds who brought forth industrial waste from Barbaropolis to the glorious land of the Hellenes.

Alexandros fell ill with food poisoning from said chickens and died quickly without doing anything of note.

:P

While in bed Alexandros was visited by Hermes who informed him that he was a son of Zeus-Olympios, gave him a bottle of Mountain Dew and flew back to Mexico.

Among the turmoil of ''Hola'' and ''Viva'', in the mass he saw a known face, familiar, from his past in Sparta : Jebivjetar...

Reply
mountaingoat 12:29 04-07-2010
Jebivjetar asked if the can of mountain dew had been delivered as requested

Reply
Duguntz 12:30 04-07-2010
and the dreaded answer finally came out : Yes (he replied) but... 2 were missing...

mountaingoat 12:35 04-07-2010
Jebivjetar gasped, then shouted " THE CANS OF IMMORTALITY MISSING!?

Reply
Arthur, king of the Britons 12:41 04-07-2010
Alexandros answered: But.. But I didn't do anything, really...
It was bloody Hermes who took them!

Alexandros, now realising he had been teleported in place of Jebivjetar and was alive .....

Reply
Arthur, king of the Britons 13:18 04-07-2010
He was greeted by an huge Hellenistic army, and one of the soldiers asked for his name.
Alexandros he replied and they mistook him for being Megas Alexandros...

And so, with the god hands of the EB 2 team, he embarked the phalangitai to join the gaza campaign, a test of strength, prelude to sacking Barbaropolis.

Loly !

In his conquests, Alexander proved him self as great leader and unbeatable tactician. He was victorious on all battlefields, yet not really satisfied; something ailed his young, brave heart: Barbaropolis still existed far, far away, and sacking it would bring him a shiniest jewel in his Crown of Victory. This jewel he wanted the most.

Day and Night a name sounded in his head... Not even able to sleep anymore, the young General went to theprophets of apollo, who answered...

"He who holds the sword of Megas Alexandros as well as his army will be able to defeat the romans. But his sword was lost during the wars of the Diadochi and now lies forgotten."

"Maybe it's that Excalibur sword everyone is talking about at home", Alexandros said.

"It aint', dawg!" Appolo replied, "The sword can be found in Therazza, where some members of a secret society of Megas Alexandros put it for some unknown reason! Go there, o brave Alexandros, and find a wise old man called Arthur, king of the Britons. He will show you the way to find The Sword."

"Divine Apollo has send me here to find you, Arthur. He also said that you know about the sword (:winkwink:)" said Alexander to the man: "Can you give me that damn sword so i can begin my glorious journey, and sack Barbaropolis for good?"

Arthur replied: (...to be continued...)

Arthur replied with a thick British accent: Now slow down young one, what do you want? You seem to be a jolly good chap but you are currently trespassing on British soil, do you want some tea and biscuits by the way son?

But why would he sack Pella?

And so Alexandros found himself in an infinite loop of conquering and reconquering Gaza. -M
