    Question Help with sources.

I am looking for some primary source accounts of the pike phalanx in combat, preferably available online so I don't have to go to the library. I am familiar with the sources and passages for phalanx vs. legion in the second century BCE, but not the successor wars or Alexander's exploits. Thanks in advance!

I'm sure there's something in Diodorus Suculus:

Arrian - his 'Anabasis Alexandri' (original greek/english translation) - although he must be taken with a grain of salt...

'...usque adeo res humanas vis abdita quaedam:opterit et pulchros fascis saevasque secures:proculcare ac ludibrio sibi habere videtur.' De rerum natura V, 1233ff.
