    Default They converted without hello(?).

In my campaign with KH Chersonesos converted to my faction without saying anything, no fancy historical document.

Should I expect this to happen again?

And by the way, do I need to destroy "Pastoralism" ?

Its due to the cultural and Govenor's building in the settlement. There are various Indepdent Hellenic polis across the mediterrean like Sinope who can convert to KH's faction if they are taken over by a faction and then rebell.

Pastoralism is for nomads :P you dont have to destroy it but youll continue to retain a cultural negetive influence in that settlement with that.

It always does, the KH is always prone to get new cities because the other hellenic faction do not keep them happy, also, since i bet you have your citiziens happy, or at least not angry (the AI almost never does), you get the cities.

Expect this a lot of times, even the once hellenic cities of france and sicily may rebel to you

Yes, every time you capture a city with an installed government destroy it, (i don't know about pastoralism, but i imagine i'ts a government type)

    oh yeah.

...even the once hellenic cities of france and sicily may rebel to you
    and spain^^
as KH always expect cities far away to rebel to you and someone who you have not encountered yet to declare war on you. personally I tend to send diplomats to most of them to see if it is about to happen .

In my Saba' campaign, the cities of northern Arabia such as Petra, Bostra, Palmyra and Gerrha were the target of both Diadochi superpowers early in the game, and then rebelled to me..... the cities at Upper Nile (Axum, Meroe) also rebelled to Saba'. It is hard to maintain peace with the superpower.....

A similar thing happened in my KH file but Massalia rebelled to me instead, I had no idea why I was losing so much money until the Romans came and attacked it. Lesson learned, look carefully at the campaign map *bangs head*
