crazy story from the girl who had to last minute decline my invite to the awards banquet.
a certain senior has been acting really creepy towards her, which everyone knows about but lately hes been acting really creepy and asked her to awards banquet too. she wants to play it safe and not go with anyone.
does this sound believable?

It sounds to me like she may be afraid that this creepy senior will threaten you. It could be concern or a lame excuse not to go with you. She's either affectionate toward you or not very creative. Just my opinion.

in my experience, thats an excuse to not hurt your feelings. of course, you could have far better luck than I; I think I just have a reaaaaaaly bad juju spell on me. one time a girl literally told me she was a lesbian (which i knew and do know currently is not true) the day of a dance to avoid going out with me.

update:
i learned the whole, accurate story from multiple sources:

so this guy who was annoying her asked her out to this event multiple times, i heard it was 5 times. but i asked her first, so she continually said "no im going with (my name)."
he kept insisting that she drop me and go with him but she kept refusing to drop me.
finally she got so annoyed that she said that she wouldnt go with anyone. as a result the other guy got angry and said that he wont go to the banquet, even though that he kept bragging to his friends that he was going to go with this girl.
im going to talk to her about this and try to change her mind about me, so wish me luck. i dont have much time, for the banquet is tomorrow evening.
