thank you Dutchhoplite, but how can I convert also the family members from Herakleotes Clan and their troops??...perhaps I can't bribe some of them

Yes I have been wondering that too. My current Seleukid campaign is going better than swimmingly. Almost all borders are secure, Antiochos II Theos is a living god and cash comes in abundance to my coffers. However, Antiochos is around 61 now and has of course Seleukos II Kallinikos as successor. Seleukos is far into the northeast (punitive campaign against the Saka). Antiochos I Soter had Stratonice bear another child and this alternative Seleukid royal line has not been given much credit. His grandson is named Hierax (it can't be roleplayed any better!). The Ptolemaioi are reduced to Kyrenaian Kingdom. So my idea would be.
1. Antiochos II Theos passes away.
2. Antiochos Hierax seizes the moment while Kallinikos ia away and claims himself Basileus.
3. Ptolemaioi faction will be joined by Hierax and some other disloyal family members, together with a large swathe of my empire (I chose Ptolemaioi for culture and shared barracks).
4. Myself I will lead Seleukos II Kallinikos with a large piece of land of loyalists on a glorious reconquest from the steppes (his current army is depleted so yes it will be heroic).
Seeing as we are facing kinda the same problem, I thougth I should share my idea.

It's possible to swap factions in mid campaign. Check the modding section.
What you must do is give away the provinces you want. Then take control of another faction using the mod. Bribe those generals you want to join the other side. Switch back to your faction.
I think MAA knows more about this than others. Check his AAR. I think he mentioned several times how he did it.
It's impossible to give away armies or faction members. MAA roleplayed a civil war by using force-diplomacy to give the "rebel" provinces to Bactria. He then deleted "rebel" armies and created equivalent Bactrian armies in their place. I am not sure how he got rid of rebel faction members, but IIRC he simply pretended that existing Bactrian generals were his own rebel generals and teleported them to the right location.

Do not listen to the lies Ludens spreads, my friends!* Look, I created a thread just for you!
*Ludens, no offense intended. He is right, in a way. While you cannot directly give away armies, there is a way to lose them in their original state. I've also talked about that in my thread. It is also possible to lose family members of the faction that has rebelled, although it's kinda tedious and might result in crashes.
