It's the times and trends, basically. "Manliness" and evolution (lol ...) are irrelevant as I see it. I've had very short hair and very long hair. Currently it's probably longer than it's ever been; I keep it in a tail most of the time. I do this now because I have a typical bald spot forming on the top of my head :(. The hair from the from of my head covers it when I slick it back and tail it. Soon, this will not work, and I will go very, very short and accept the fact that my long-hair days are over. This is very sad for an ex-rock 'n roller.
