Default UNIT RATE OF FIRE CAN IT BE ALTERED?

Hi, i am modding a firearm unit, and was wondering if the rate of fire can be modified outside the animaton for the figure. Have been looking at the text (mainly the EDU file) but nothing seems to work. Have Muskets and Crossbows firing as fast as archers, which is not really too wonderful. Any fixes for this prob, without getting into 3DMax territory.

the second last value of the weapons is the delay time between attacks, (left of lethality), you can assign any value in milisecond, and such as croosbow or muskets, maybe you'll need to assign 10000 or 20000

Hi Big Bear, are you asking about RTW, or M2TW or Empire?

If I remember correctly, the delay time is the time which is allowed to pass before the animation plays again. If your firearm animation is very long (like in NTW) then even reducing this time to zero may not produce a very rapid rate of fire. If this is the case you need to edit the animation itself.
