That is Chalkis on my Roman game. I was trying to capture it with two kretan archers, two illyrian light cavalry and one depleted unit of the mercenary naked dudes. In the town itself was the Macedonian faction leader and a hugely depleted unit of peltasts. After I laid siege to the town, the Macedonians brought one of their ships around and dropped off a huge army of ~3000 guys on the northern edge of the island. They couldn't get around to attack my guys, so they were stuck there until the faction leader sallied out. I rushed up and killed the peltasts with my cavalry, captured the gate, and rushed all of my guys to the center to kill the faction leader. Everyone routed except the naked dudes, but they all eventually regrouped down the street. I kept my cavalry in the town center and ran my archers and naked dudes into the street. The cavalry fended off everyone in the town center while the naked dudes and archers watched the street. The huge army hadn't gotten there yet, they were still outside the city.
Eventually all Macedonian cavalry rushed into the city way before anyone else and my cavalry and archers beat them while my naked dudes held the street. One of the archers routed, while the other one just stood not far behind the naked dudes. Once all of the infantry got to the streets, they were held up by 100 of the mercenary naked dudes. At this point, there was still a few stragglers in the town square, so the timer wasn't going down yet. My cavalry eventually took all the stragglers out, and the timer started. The naked dudes still had like 90 guys left. They held their position while 3000 Macedonian soldiers tried to get through the narrow street. They held out for 3 minutes, and I won the battle. The Macedonian army had no where to run to, so their army was destroyed after the battle, which basically got rid of the rest of the Macedonian resistance on the Greek peninsula.
Those naked dudes are amazing.
