I've been working on my Mythical TW mod, and when i was testing my stone-trowing trolls with the AI attacking me with these, they dont demolish walls as they are supposed to do, they just storm the gate or throw torches at the stockades...
does anyone know how can i make the AI use a ranged attack on the walls instead of melee?

if i'm understanding this correctly, you'd need to make your units missile units and make sure that the settings in the projectilestats file allow for the missiles themselves to be strong enough to actually hurt the walls, otherwise the unit wont bother to attack the walls, i think.

sorry ppl, i got misunderstood, i will rephrase:
i manage to make the trolls dmolish walls by clicking on them (The little bow appears with a green arrow). they do as they are told and throw stones until the wall is down. but when it is an AI player assaulting my castle, he wont use the most eficient attack, which is throwing stones. After a bit of observation, i noticed sometimes they do throw those stones at gates only, but only once, then they storm the gater by force...
anyone managed to make this work?
