Default Setting up a specific AAR

    Hey there,

I want to start playing and writing a KH AAR... but I want to set it up in a specific manner. I was hoping I could get some advice here on how to prep it.

Basically, I think the alliance between Sparta, Rhodes and Athens wouldn't have lasted beyond some level of safety and I want to have it such that the story begins with an Athenian grabbing control rulership of Athens and intending to best Alexander's with hellenic style.

I would like to change the starting position such that Sparta and Rhodes are both independent and add a young general with loads of potential to Athens.

I've been reading up on how to do this, but there's loads of material and I was hoping I could get pointers to the most effective/safe way to do this. So, can anyone help?

You'll have to make changes to the descr_strat.txt in the "...\Rome - Total War\EB\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign" folder. You could manage to make all those wanted changes in that one file. Backup the file before you change it, of course. Alternately, you could just start a regular KH campaign, kill off all your non-Athenians and then let the other two cites rebel.
