The remaining survivors walked over to atheotes, and accused him of being a demon. One of them, Secura, even began prosecuting atheotes with a very well-prepared and thoughtful case. She looked like nothing less than Phoenix Wright.
And THAT, my friends, is why atheotes is guilty!!!
Secura: But Phoenix Wright was a Defense Attorney, not a prosecutor.
Right, right... well I don't know any famous prosecutors. Don't correct the Narrator! The Narrator is all-knowing and all powerful. I can write you in or out of the story at will!
Secura: I assure you, I'm sufficiently frightened by that. Don't let the bored expression fool you.
Good. Now, she laid out a devastating case, which made atheotes absolutely speechless. He was stunned... almost motionless. In fact, when Secura walked over and touched atheotes, it seemed as though he were already dead.
Secura: Perhaps the shock of being accused is what did it?
No, no I am afraid not. You see, atheotes has been inactive for about two weeks now. I'm afraid he's not only dead, but rotting at this point. I was going to WOG him this round if you had picked someone else.
Secura: Oh. My bad.
In fact, poke him in the face, watch what happens.
Secura: Okay...... *poke* OH MY GOD, HIS HEAD CAME OFF!!!!
Yep. He's really, completely, 100% dead. He's not even pining for the fjords, nor is he tired and shagged out from a long squawk. Bereft of life, he rests in peace, and he's joined the choir invisible.
AND ATHEOTES WAS NO MORE!!!
