My geography teacher used to say something like that, said it was arrogant to think we can make such a big difference to the planet.

I don't buy that line of thought though, all it takes is some very, very minor changes on the surface of the planet, and then our whole way of existence is gone.

People like to worry and need an explanation to confirm their fears. Global Warmists seem to think there is nothing that can be done (or it is too late ) to affect anything. Who cares?
