Default Medieval II Total War- Kingdoms: Brittania Five Player Hotseat signup/invite thread.

    Hello

I would like to host a Kingdoms: Brittania hotseat game to get back into the swing of things. Here's my vision:

    • An intimate setting- the British Isles. No where to run, no where to hide.
    • The diplomatic situation will be tense.
    • Roleplaying and staying in character is encouraged.
    • Prior hotseat experience is welcome.

We're looking for a certain kind of player... the dedicated fanatic. That's why this game will be more exclusive than others, there are only 5 slots and we would need someone who is willing to throw themselves into character, and won't forget to send in their moves. Dropouts and inactive players disrupt games, and with only 5 nations, losing any player would be devastating. So please make sure you want to play.

Presently, here's what things could look like:

    1. Askthepizzaguy (GM and player)
    2. TheFlax (player)
    3. YLC (player)
    4. Chaotix (player)
    5. johnhughthom (player)

    England- Askthepizzaguy (not confirmed)
    Scotland- Johnhughthom (not confirmed)
    Ireland- Chaotix (not confirmed)
    Wales- TheFlax (not confirmed)
    Norway- YLC (not confirmed)

    House rules:

    • The usual no console/no cheating rules apply, which I will clarify before the game begins.
    • Battles may be auto-resolved but they can also be player controlled.
    • Spies cannot be used to force open settlements during seiges

(it's unrealistic the way this mechanic gets abused... any faction with multiple brothels will have an unfair advantage over the others. If you wish to capture a settlement in one turn, use seige equipment, which is slow, bulky, and expensive. That should limit examples of five settlements falling in a given turn and factions being defeated so quickly)

I have almost all the players in mind for this game, but should my invitations be declined, I'll have room for others. If you are interested, fire me a private message.
