Broke Crescent Issues (CTD)

I know several of you have had this issue.

I installed M2TW and patched it to 1.03 with my Kingdoms CD. I then installed Broken Crescent 2.0 with the 2.02 patch. But every time I try to load BC it crashes and states: "Medieval II suffered a fatal error and will now exit."

What are some of the things you guys have done to fix this issue? Any suggestions? I run a hotseat here in the Throne Room and I'm getting pretty frustrating with this...

I'm running Windows 7 now and that's why I had to reinstall.

man that sucks! technics sucks. gotta hate this stuff... best would be to ask the authors of this at the total war center i figure

Awesome! So my game is working again. The problem was a corrupt config file. I downloaded a new one via the TWC forums and win!
