I'm wanting to get the rules really down pat, and be happy with them. I've got no idea. i think i'd want 10 players or so, based on the size of the map. This would be a test game, then I'm thinking another test on in Iberia, then Europe as a whole.

I guess kind of, looking at one thread. Difference would be rules/how you start etc

Premise is the same based on one picture and like 5 words i read. Take a civ, guide to victory.

I'm definately hoping to have more diplomatic/combat/economic options avaliable in this version.

Hoping for a loyalty system, commanders to armies etc. Sort of like a Pen and Paper Europa Universalis 3, but simpler.

Yeah, the game should be a lot of fun, but a good test to see if the rules work as they should.

So far I have the city levels and defences set up. Starting work on the combat system.

After 3 and a half hours of work, I'm stopping for now.

I have updated the first post with some City and the battle mechanics.

I have worked out the income system, the recruiting system and what possible orders you can submit.

I've also figured out how I'm going to do the map updating, which is a major bonus.

Just started writing the section on sieges, after that, not much to go. Post here if you want to play, I'm going to limit this to ten people, and it looks like 4 want in already.
