    If not everything is wrong I learned of ancient times the romans were as warlike as most other people of this time. If they were not, they would not have been able to conquer most of the known world...

    Anyone else ever have any perfect chain of events that lead up to awesome things like that? It's kind of a specific question, but I'm just wondering.
    Since I can't remember having a reform except for the Indo-Saka one I must answer this with no.
    But did the romans really need more wars with the celts to change their equipment? I thought they changed there way of fighting after Roma was sacked and the "Polybian Reforms" were actually a slowly development?
