    Default Agincourt

Right, any ideas how to manage this battle? I'm clueless.
I get my backside handed badly every time I try to do it. And in M2TW it's five times as easier.

I just can't seem to stave off all of the cavalry that's being thrown at me.

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

I know that when I last fought it (it was at least 5-6 years ago) I won it in my first go. I think that your troops in the battle are pretty imbalanced, they probably implemented some hidden bonuses to your troops (just like in Bannockburn or Jaffa battles). All those battles should be pretty impossible, but your troops seem to be boosted...

Anyway, I can't even remember the battle setup, cuz since I installed MTW this time, I can't fight battles. I only know that I was pretty nooby when I won it, so I guess you won't need much thinking, billmen (who I think were the backbone of the English) are supposed to hold the line!

You only get 60 Billmen, and that's it! The others are Spearmen which hold on their own for a couple of minutes then they just run away.
It's annoying because it doesn't recreate the exact Agincourt battle, the whole battlefield was a bottleneck and it was easy for the guys to use the stakes and spears to defend while the longbowmen did their job. Here it's a huge area!
