    Default Weather conditions and arrows

I was wondering if there was a way to adjust ranged fire accuracy in MIITW? Supposedly its like Rome where attack ratings seem to affect accuracy. If so, what is there to tag veterancy modifiers for archers to Generals and FMs to simulate bad weather?

Since the bad weather is something you first notice on the battlefield and can even be changed when you wait for better one I doubt there is a way to give the archers experience when it rains.
And I don't know if it's moddable to change the experience bonuses but in kingdoms the soldiers get only melee attack for experience not range attack or defence skill.

Yeah I'm struggling to comprehend the OP exactly. Do you mean archers should get negatives due to seasons?

Withnar analysed it in this thread over on TWC:

Some arrow types do get negatives in M2TW if its raining/hailing/snowing.

Possibly the team amy decide that the rather poor quality northern european archers may be "snow proof" so their poor numbers do not drop further in snow because of their familiarity/adaption to those conditions. Would steppe nomads be a bit more "snow proof" than mediteranean/Iranian archers? Just askin'.

There is a trait in the descr_projectiles file called "affected_by_rain" which produces the effect your after.

Maybe archers with composite bows could have this to represent the destructive effect of rain on their bows.

I would love to see something like this implemented in the game. It would add another dimension to the use of archers and make western archers seem just that bit more versatile.

I've never really noticed the effect all that much and I believe those are more range reductions than anything else correct?

Rain did affect archer accuracy in RTW, though I never noticed this in MIITW.

Kill rate in M2TW was lowered during rainy weather battles.
