Default Humble Barbarian raids against Civilized Scum cities

Proposal: Create (or replace) a option asking what to do when a city is captured (if replaced, maybe Expel populace) with Raiding (looting and pillaging) which, when raided, will go back to the original faction's holder (with created Apeleutheroi) and the army leave the city with the gold and goods, this only available for factions that did it, for a bit of historical accuracy and some Role Playing for the players.

Besides, i believe you have edited that part in RTW, i guess it's moddable in M2TW

And maybe new traits (like Good Pillager: This man knows where people hide their goods, and knows how to bring them home too. +2 Pillaging Bonus when raiding) for Raiding.

You mean like the option that the "Horde" factions had when capturing enemy cities in BI? And maybe MII with the the unplayable Mongol and Timurid factions.

I'm not sure if that's possible though.

I believe it has been said that the team cannot change the effects of the three options given when you capture a city, they can only rename them. The M2TW options are a little different anyways though. They are occupy, sack, or exterminate, instead of occupy, enslave, exterminate (the vanilla RTW options), so you get the most money for sacking, not for exterminating (EB enslaving) like in RTW. I think this is a bit better, because I hate how to get money out of settlements in RTW, I had to destroy their population. But you still occupy the settlement afterwards, so it's not really what you want.

The mongols [in MTWII] seemed to be able to raid a city and afterwards leaving it as rebel one. This is what they did before the "foundation of their empire" which took place when they got jerusalem. only afterwards they started really holding cities. So there seems to be an option for this, althoug it theoretically could be scripted or something, the mongols are also a faction which is unplayable and due to the fact that they spawn in the 1240s, one which is heavily scripted. but nevertheless there could be some option.

Because the mongolse was a horde faction.
FOr the player it would only be possible, if his faction would start as a horde.

IIRC only factions on horde mode (like the mongols on RTW BI) could sack settlements and continue as a horde. They could also alternatively choose to settle down on a city instead of sacking it, thus losing their horde status and becoming a regular faction. I don´t know if this feature is included in M2TW (not all features of RTW/BI have passed down to M2TW), others may be possible to recover (like they have done with chariots) but i wouldn´t hold my breath.
