abstain means you're voting "Present". It means you don't care if you lynch someone or not, or who. It counts for activity, it does not count for the vote tally.

No lynch means you're voting "hey, let's not lynch ANYONE." If that outnumbers the votes for the most-voted-for player, no one is lynched.
