It came across as if you know perfectly well that Beefy is town but are letting him be lynched for your own reasons. That runs counter to what I expect the outcome of today's lynch to be, but it stood out.

It is possible that is he a random townie claiming a power role, either way, he should die to make sure he isn't mafia.

However, I haven't got any information to what role or alignment Beefy plays, but according to Star Fox, he isn't one of them, which he is claiming.

I think Beefy is just a simple Cornerian or Venomian who role-claimed in order to survive. Therefore, I will vote: Khazaar

    Day Phase Six

General Pepper: That area is flooded with radiation! Are you certain you want to go in there?

Fox McCloud: If we're going to take the Venomian base at Macbeth, we're going to need some cover.

Stage Six: Sector Z combat zone

    Good luck!

You can watch this video for fun, but it doesn't quite fit into the story.
Instead, click on the music below it to accompany the writeup. Watch this video afterward if you want.

    Click for music.

Fox McCloud and most of the StarFox team headed toward the space junkyard known as Sector Z. The area was used to dump radioactive materials used by the nearby planet, Venom.

    Fox McCloud: All aircraft report

Slippy Toad: I'm fine, I'm fine.

Peppy Hare: This is Peppy. All systems go.

Rob64: This is Rob64. Great Fox is ready to go.

Peppy Hare: Hmmm, levels of radiation in this sector are higher than anticipated. What have the Venomians been up to?

Slippy Toad: I see a squadron of Venomian fighters up ahead.

Venomian fighter: This area is off-limits to outsiders. Leave immediately or we will open fire.

Fox McCloud: We're not going anywhere. We're trying to determine the source of all these proton-antiproton missiles that keep attacking planets all across the system.

Venomian fighter: This is your final warning. Please exit the waste area before you get hurt.

Slippy Toad: Fox, this radiation is interfering with my scanners. I can't tell if this guy has the firepower to back up what he's saying.

Fox McCloud: Stand down, Venomian! Perhaps you don't know who you're dealing with here.... we're STAR FOX!

Venomian fighter: All craft, target the lead vessel. Fire on my mark.

    Peppy Hare: Brace yourselves!

The Venomian freighters jettisoned their toxic cargo, and then fired upon it. The resulting explosion overloaded the sensor systems on each Arwing, and coated their cockpits with radioactive black tar.

Slippy Toad: Ahhhhhh! I'm hit! I can't see a thing!

Peppy Hare: Use your targeting computer, Slip! We'll have to pilot by sensors alone!

Fox McCloud: I think I can make them out, my cockpit only has a thin coating of slime on it. Let me handle this.

Peppy Hare: I'll follow your lead on this one, Fox!

Slippy Toad: Right behind ya, Fox!

Fox McCloud and his group began firing blindly into the Venomian squadron, which immediately began to disperse. With great zeal, the members of the Star Fox team began chasing them down and firing on them one by one. With each one they destroyed, more radiation and black tar was released into space. Even the venomians began firing upon one another. It was a cruel melee, each fighter flying blind and in the dark.

    Slippy Toad: I got one!

Peppy Hare: Fox, I think I've detected the enemy flagship! Check your scanners!

Fox McCloud: I spot it, I think. I'm targeting its engines!

Peppy Hare: Wait, Fox! I think that's one of ours!

Rob64: This is Rob64. Great Fox has sustained critical damage.

Fox McCloud: Oh shoot! That was the Great Fox!

Slippy Toad: Nooooooooo! Not the Great Fox!

    Peppy Hare: Doggone it!

Beefy187: STAND CLEAR. CORE REACTOR BREACH IN PROGRESS.

Slippy Toad: Rob! Get out of there!

Beefy187: This is Rob64. Insufficient time remaining.

Fox McCloud: What have I done?

    Peppy Hare: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

    MISSION FAILED

Who's great idea was this? johnhuhtom claims to be Katt, and he was the first accuser of Beefy, saying StarFox team scanned him, and he was not Rob64.

Granted, Beefy didn't do anything to help his case...but there really wasn't any proof Beefy was mafia. Yet the bandwagon on him became unstoppable...

Hmm.. bad call made but I don't think that JHT is certainly guilty from this.

He explicitly stated in thread that the reason for voting beefy was because he wasn't recruitable, not that he knew that Beefy was scum.

With the information town had, I would've lynched Beefy too so I won't blame the town.
Case was pretty solid and I couldn't think of anything to prevent my lynch.

    Good luck
This round was terrible for the town, but I'm sure we can get something out of it which leads to the mafia.

You could at least have tried! The way it went I had no reason to doubt what the two Star Fox members claimed.
In the post game I'd really like to know how it was possible that the Star Fox team was divided the way it was.

Possibly for balance purposes; as Beskar has stated, Star Wolf is intended to be the neutral counterpart to the innocent-aligned Star Fox. The main post shows the characters grouped into fours (Wolf, Leon, Panther and Andrew for Star Wolf; Fox, Falco, Slippy and Peppy for Star Fox), so it's likely that the latter had their initial numbers trimmed to keep things even.

It'd be a bit weird if Star Fox started out with Fox, Falco, Slippy, Peppy, Katt, Rob64 and Krystal; seven power roles that all know one another from the get-go? The rest of us wouldn't need to bother playing because Star Fox could do everything themselves... seven makes for a pretty strong voting bloc. :3

It´s odd how lynches turn out lately. This time you should have most definately lynched me (aside from the fact that my only crime is that I appear to be lurking, an offense that I´m sure more people are guilty of) instead of Beefy. With powerroles I´m sure somebody could have roleblocked him to check if he´s a killer. Oh well, mafia is just a guessingame after all...

No, he said they tried to recruit him, but what if JHT didn't actually send the order? JHT was also in the write-up where Falco died the second time, seemingly protecting him, yet it had no effect -- Double A, need some input from you here.

And yeah. I'd bet money that Beskar knew damn well that Beefy was town. He knows about me; Beefy's been in trouble before -- he clearly has both access to investigations and motive to check out Beefy.

Freaking easy to say that now. And difficult to defend a power role when every other pro-town in the game is saying lynch.

When somebody who is claiming to be with Star fox says you should lynch someone, you tend to listen. I mean honestly, even Falco said we should go through with it.

I did. I posted 5 or 6 times during that phase trying to defend my self.
I don't see what else I could've done with Star Fox team telling everyone to lynch me.

Why? It is Star Fox that wanted Beefy dead, since they did the investigations on him themself. I followed their lead.

    I didn't know Beefy was actually Rob64.

Actually, I had no motivation to investigate Beefy last night. He claimed a member of Star Fox, therefore, he would be recruited/investigated by Star Fox. No point wasting efforts since I thought if it was a legitimate claim, Star Fox keep him alive.

However, it appears for reasons unknown to me (only guess, is game balance, to prevent a 7-8 member mason team) that Pizza didn't make him recruit-able by Star Fox. This lead Star Fox team to collectively get rid of what they assumed to be scum, because they could not recruit Beefy, probably also because of added paranoia with no mafia attack on him, and the fact it was Beefy who acts like a confused townie constantly, and mistook him for mafia.

When Katt Monroe and Falco both jumped in saying he is scum, it seemed legitimate, because Star Fox would obviously know if his own HQ is a player or not, afterall, who revived them? I assumed when they called out Beefy it was like some one pointed out earlier, that Rob64 came across as an NPC, also, I assumed that being able to get revived was a Star Fox ability they knew about.

It seems that Star Fox just killed their own man in their haste. The only crime I committed was believing them and assuming they would have checked out their own partner.

And yeah. I'd bet money that Beskar knew damn well that Beefy was town. He knows about me; Beefy's been in trouble before -- he clearly has both access to investigations and motive to check out Beefy.
I'm as lost as everyone else. It would help if there was some way for them to contact me without all of us having to reveal. The only thing I know is that I have a worthless ability, and that some people (aka Khaan and Wideyewanderer) aren't neutral
