The Star Fox team and a group of Cornerian fighters advanced on Bolse, the constructed defense outpost in orbit around Venom. They had taken casualties just attempting to reach the outpost.

Fox McCloud: This is it, let's get ready to rumble.

Slippy Toad: Rumble pak engaged!

Peppy Hare: Slippy, watch out, you've got a bogey on your tail!


Slippy Toad: Woah! Help me!

Fox McCloud: I've got you covered, Slippy.

Slippy Toad: Something's wrong.... the satellite seems to be protected by some kind of energy shield.

Fox McCloud: I've got you now.... shoot! These fighters also seem to be protected by an energy shield. Even my hyper blaster doesn't do any damage.

Peppy Hare: Everyone, try evasive maneuvers! If we can't figure out how to shut down those shields then we're going to get pulverized!

Slippy Toad: Fox, I've taken damage! I'm monkey food if I don't leave!

Peppy Hare: Me too.... Sorry guys, I've gotta sit this one out!

Fox McCloud: All craft, full retreat.

Wolf O'Donnell Why don't you go back to Corneria, where it's safe? Leave the hard work to someone who knows what he's doing.

Pigma Dengar: You can't beat us. We've got better ships!

Fox McCloud: I'm not looking for a fight. We're here to defeat Andross...

Wolf O'Donnell YOU???? You wouldn't stand a chance against Andross. Your ships are fleeing from a tiny unmanned space station just because it has extra shielding. Your team is in disarray, and your fleet is taking a severe beating. You run at the first sign of trouble. You haven't been much use in taking down Andross' minions. What good are you, anyway?

Leon Powalski: You're way out of your league, rookie. Leave the real jobs to the professionals, and finally learn your place.

Andrew Oikonny: You'd better listen up, or you'll be sorry!

Pigma Dengar: I've got an idea.... *oink* let's just put him outta business. Getting rid of the competition would be quite profitable.

Fox McCloud: Is that all you think about, is money?

Pigma Dengar: Hey, you gotta earn a living. It's not like you work for free, so get off my back! *oink*

Wolf O'Donnell Well? Are you just going to stick around, or are you going to wise up and leave?

Fox McCloud: There's gotta be a way to defeat them. What are you guys going to do, keep talking tough, or are you prepared to back it up with some action?

Leon Powalski: We certainly don't need your pathetic assistance.

Fox McCloud: Sure you don't. By the way, you've got a group of fighters on your tail.

Leon Powalski: I know that! I'm not worried about some unmanned drones! I am the GREAT LEON!!!

Panther Caroso: Ahhh.... finally some worthy prey.....

Fox McCloud: Hey, look..... the force field is disappearing. There's something emerging.....

Leon Powalski: Check your scanners.

Andrew Oikonny: There's over 200 drones coming towards our position!

Wolf O'Donnell What the heck?

Fox McCloud: It's decision time, Wolf.... are you going to fight that army, or are you going to get out while you still can?

Wolf O'Donnell Oh be quiet, you... amateur! Wolfen fighters, evasive sequence nine. Regroup at Saragossa.

Pigma Dengar: It's too late! We're completely surrounded!

Fox McCloud: General Pepper, come in. I need the Cornerian Fleet to converge on my coordinates. The enemy army has emerged! Repeat, I need backup, now!

General Pepper: I read you, Fox. I'm sending in the Fleet.

Fox McCloud: Here come the reinforcements!

The Cornerian Fleet began engaging the army of automated drones just above the surface of Bolse. The Lylat Cruisers were able to penetrate the drone fighter's shields, but only rarely. The small craft were too maneuverable to be hit. Cornerian fighters chased them down and attempted to blow them to pieces, with blasters and missile fire. All of the weapons on the Cornerian fighters were unable to penetrate the drone's shielding, and many Cornerian fighters were overwhelmed by the numbers of the drones.

Wolf O'Donnell: There's an opening in the field, heading 105 mark 27. Let's leave this one to "Mister hero"....

Leon Powalski: Acknowledged.

Pigma Dengar: Have fun, little man! Don't work too hard! Hah hah hah!!!

Panther Caroso: Meeting you has been a pleasure. I hope to see you again in one piece.... if you survive.

Andrew Oikonny: You think he'll survive? I don't think so. Hey Fox.... give it up! You can't win!

Wolf O'Donnell: Until next we meet, Fox..... try not to fail too horribly.

Fox McCloud: You're welcome, guys. General Pepper, let's get the fleet out of harm's way. There's nothing more that can be done here, we're just not inflicting enough damage.

General Pepper: Loud and clear Fox. Everyone, regroup at the base at Macbeth.

Fox McCloud: Damage report, all craft!

Frozen in Ice: This is Blue 8... My shield is down, and my life support system has shorted out! I'm breathing through an oxygen mask, and my cockpit is venting air into space! It.... it's..... so...... c-c-c-c-cold.....

Fox McCloud: Blue 8, do you think you can make it to Macbeth?

*red klaxons go off inside Frozen's cockpit. The fusion reactor is about to go critical*

Frozen in Ice: I don't think I need to worry about that anymore, Fox. This is Blue 8 to all nearby craft, my reactor is about to blow.... move to a safe distance!

Fox McCloud: Blue 8, can't you shut it down? Frozen, do you read me???

Frozen in Ice: I'm sorry Fox..... tell my wife, Boiling in Oil, that I love her very much. All right, you alien drone buttholes, if I'm going down I'm taking you with me.

Frozen in Ice piloted his craft back towards Bolse, heading directly for the satellites' main shield generator, which is protected by a squadron of drones and surrounded by automated ion cannons. He powered up his engines and began his suicide run.

Frozen in Ice: ZEPPELIN RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULES!!!!!

Joooray was flying her Cloud Runner over the planet Sauria, making certain the sky was free of all proton-antiproton missiles. She looked up and saw a distant object approaching from the sky.

Ahhh.... Krystal... the pleasure of meeting you is all mine. Such a shame I am going to have to kill you.


Joooray: Well you've got one thing right, the pleasure is all yours. But you're not taking me down today.

Krystal fired up her emergency booster engines and began flying down toward the surface. The Cloud Runner's only reserve Smart Bomb deployed, trailing behind her diving craft. Just before she hit the surface, she pulled up and headed for the Grandiose Canyon. The Smart Bomb impacted the surface, the blast catching the pursuing attacker's fighter craft by surprise. However the fighter emerged mostly unscathed.

Clever little Fox... but it will take more than one of those. All out of Smart Bombs?

Joooray: Maybe so, but I have a few surprises left.

Krystal cruised through Grandiose Canyon, pulling her craft through the sharp twists and turns of the mighty ancient canyon. At the fork in the dry riverbed ahead, she veered sharply to the left and traveled through a large ancient archway, and fired her twin blasters at the support structure. The entire thing collapsed a split second after she passed underneath. Her attacker saw the move coming and pulled up.

I'm still right behind you, and enjoying the view.

Joooray: What is it you want anyway?

Krystal took the brunt of a volley of plasma fire. Her ship, the Cloud Runner, was built with heavy shielding, and she simply did a Barrel Roll and her G-Diffuser system generated a directional deflector shield. The plasma bounced off of her shields and hit the canyon wall. She pulled her ship into a climb, followed closely by her attacker, and executed a vertical half loop. The Cloud Runner streaked back toward the ground, and she fired her twin lasers at the dusty ancient sand. The sand and the dust exploded from the impact, creating a large, thick dust cloud. Then she twisted her ship to the right and began flying back in the opposite direction, leaving her attacker to guess which direction she had flown.

Oh, I like this game, I like it. Let's play hide and seek.... you try and hide, and I'll seek you out every time.

Joooray: Get away from me, you creep!

Krystal pulled her craft out of the canyon and blasted toward a thick mass of a great jungle ahead. Her ship darted past ten-thousand year old trees that stood half a mile tall. The jungle is filled with massive saurian creatures. The ship on her tail continued firing red plasma at her, incinerating vegetation and killing animal life in the process. Krystal pulled up abruptly, and flew over the jungle and began performing barrel rolls to deflect the plasma fire. Her ship was still hit several times during these maneuvers.

Not quite good enough. Any last words?

Joooray: ......Go fox yourself?

Charming to the last. Did you learn that language in finishing school, princess?

Krystal piloted her craft toward the ancient ruins of some long-lost civilization, and flew directly into the temple, attempting to lose her attacker in the twisting maze of columns and tight corridors

What a fitting end to such a life... soon, this place will be quiet as a tomb.

Joooray: Oh great, a comedian. Where's the comically over-sized hook to yank this joker off the stage?

You're right. I've overstayed my welcome. Time for the curtain to fall.

Krystal's attacker fired at the ceiling in the central chamber, and then it started to collapse. The attacker swerved down a connecting corridor and left the temple altogether. Several tons of solid rock fell on top of Krystal's craft, crushing it instantly and causing the G-diffuser system to explode.

Joooray: Fox..... where are you.....

Bolse Defense Outpost

ArpeggiateTHIS flew in formation with other Cornerian Fighters, several kilometers away from the Bolse Defense Platform, just out of range of weapons fire from the platform. The Cornerian Fleet had returned from Macbeth, and was awaiting the order to attack. However, this was not to be.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

Right in the center of the fleet, a massive buildup of graviton particles signaled that a tear in normal space was forming. The Fleet was ordered to break away, but Bill Grey saw proton-antiproton missiles emerging. They were heading straight for the Cornerian flagship. Swinging into action, Bill Grey moved toward the gravity well, and began blasting the missiles with his green-tinted twin blasters. However, this time something was different.... the missiles stopped emerging from the gravity well. Instead, the gravity well expanded rapidly in size, pulling Bill Grey's ship directly into the vortex. Stuck in Pi's fighter drifted inside, right along with him.

ArpeggiateTHIS: General Pepper! I'm being pulled inside the vortex! Blue 9 is trapped inside with me. Bulldog unit, cover the flagship. Husky unit, retreat to a safe distance.


Andross: Ha ha ha ha.... you can NEVER DEFEAT ME!!!!


ArpeggiateTHIS: Andross.... I should have known. Can't say I'm surprised. It will be my pleasure to personally take you down. Blue 9, cover me, I'm going in!


Andross: Those tin cans are no match for me....

Andross grabbed Stuck in Pi's vessel and tossed it OUT OF THIS DIMENSION.

ArpeggiateTHIS: Stuck in Pi! NOOOOOOOO!!! That's one of ours!!!


Andross: NOW you will feel TRUE pain....

Andross attempted to grab Bill Grey's ship, but it swiftly moved out of the way and began shooting Andross in the eyes.

Andross: AAAARRRGGGHHHH.....

Andross fired what appeared to be force lightning a stream of ionized particles at Bill Grey's ship, trapping him in the damaging storm.

Andross: You will die, just like your father....


ArpeggiateTHIS: What are you talking about? My father isn't dead. I'm Bill Grey.


Andross: Who?


ArpeggiateTHIS: Bill Grey. I'm more of an ancillary character. But I helped Fox out a couple of times. Also I can tell the good guys from the bad. I command the Husky and Bulldog squadrons. Come on, all the fans know who I am. I'm here to help!


Andross: WHAT? I reveal my awesomely unstoppable power, and all I get to crush is some loser who hasn't even starred in a game as a main character yet? DIE YOU PATHETIC LITTLE WORM!!!

Andross' robotic hands begin to transform into something else.... missile launchers. From out of these come a steady stream of proton-antiproton missiles. They swarm around Bill Grey's ship and begin to explode, crippling Bill Grey's vessel.

ArpeggiateTHIS: WOAH, Chill out man! You're totally harshing on my mellow!

Andross' robotic hands transform back, and they grab Bill Grey's ship and begin crushing it like tin foil.
