I made it pretty obvious I was Cornerian earlier in the game...and people still think I'm scummy. My only ability is to vote and contribute to discussion, and whenever I try to do that, it doesn't help any, and people get suspicious. :( I should stick to playing Civ.

I knew Arpeg was going to be targeted last night. It was blatantly obvious, since he revealed himself to have a useful ability, and he became the most "valuable" townie revealed, and therefore a prime target of the mafia. But you guys are more experienced players, and didn't need me to tell you that, right? Then why did no one protect him? Was there a more likely target for the mafia last night? No. Double A revealed his ability long ago, and he's still alive. Besides, I think Arpeg's ability to see if someone was pro-town or not was more useful than Double A's ability to see neutral or not neutral. I think either someone screwed up last night and protected the wrong person, or our protector is MIA. As for the "unnecessary clarification," Arpeg asked who he should use his ability on, no one answered, so I did.

'khaan isn't. I've investigated him (remember, I am an investigator). I did it the round where Renata was *convinced* he was mafia, even though I said "he is claiming and looks to be cornerian". In short, I was correct.

If you'd actually go back and look at my posts, you'd find that I have been posting about the same as I have all game. I have been posting more frequently than you have, so by your reasoning, perhaps you should be voted for.

Star Fox and the Cornerian Army moved into orbit around Venom.... but was forced to move to the opposite end of the planet, where the Venomian fleet was docked and there are heavy air defense platforms, warships, and interceptors, not to mention a vast minefield. The Cornerian fleet was forced to keep its distance, and send in only the fighters. The move was almost suicidal, but Fox McCloud was leading the charge.

Fox McCloud: All craft, report in!

Slippy Toad: Don't worry, Slippy's here!

Katt Monroe: Make way for Katt!

Peppy Hare: I've taken a few hits, but I'm okay.

Fox McCloud: Let's rock and roll!

Venomian Fleet Commander: Are these guys idiots? They're going to get pulverized.

Venomian fighter: They're heading for the minefield. 500 meters.

Fox McCloud: Everyone, deploy nova bombs.

Slippy Toad: Bomb one deployed!

Peppy Hare: Bomb two deployed!

Katt Monroe: Already done, Fox.



The bombs hurtled toward the mine field, triggering several space mines. The resulting explosion set off a chain reaction, and detonated the nova bombs. Soon, a hole was blasted in the kilometer-thick minefield.


Venomian fighter: They've blown a hole in the mine field. They're coming through.

Venomian Fleet Commander: Deploy missiles.

Peppy Hare: Shoot em down, we're being marked!

Fox McCloud: Here it comes!

Katt Monroe: Take the right one boy, I've got the left.



within seconds, the missiles were shot down by the Fox team. The Cornerian fighters followed close behind, while the Cornerian cruisers attempted to break through the mine field.


Venomian fighter: They've broken through the first line.

Venomian Fleet Commander: Send in the fighters.

Peppy Hare: Enemy fighters incoming.

Slippy Toad: Fox! They're all over me, I can't break free!

Katt Monroe: I've got an enemy on my tail!

Fox McCloud: I'm on it.



After a fierce fire fight, the Fox team had downed most of the enemy fighters, leaving the Cornerian fighter group to finish off the rest. They continued on toward Venom.


Venomian fighter: They're through the second line!

Venomian Fleet Commander: These guys are crazy! Send in the warships.

Peppy Hare: Enemy warships dead ahead. It's a trap!

Slippy Toad: There's too many of them!

Katt Monroe: They're all over me!

Fox McCloud: Use your G-diffuser system!

The warships unleashed a barrage of red plasma fire, many firing directly at the Star Fox team, and many firing at the Cornerian fighters behind them.

Slippy Toad: Ahhh! I'm hit!

Peppy Hare: At this rate, we're not going to last long against those warships. We need help!

Katt Monroe: Fox, my ship has taken too much damage, I've got to withdraw.

Fox McCloud: Head back to the cruisers. I've got this one, Katt.

The Cornerian fleet, comprised of Lylat Cruisers, Lylat Carriers, and General Pepper's flagship, breaks through the first line defenses and begins to assist in the battle.

Fox McCloud: General Pepper, we need assistance at the following coordinates.

General Pepper: Concentrate all fire on that Super Star Destroyer.

Peppy Hare: Fox, it's working!

Slippy Toad: Enemy warship down! There's a gap in the field! We can break through now.

Nictel: The last line has been breached!

Venomian Fleet Commander: FIRE!! FIRE!!! DON'T LET THEM THROUGH!!!!

Nictel: Acknowledged, sir!

Nictel's ship moves into position and fires on Star Fox.

Nictel: In order to get to Venom, you've got to get through me first!

Peppy Hare: Doggone it, what now?

Slippy Toad: Let me handle this! Pew pew pew pew!!!!

Peppy Hare: "Pew pew pew"?

Nictel: I'm hit! I'm hit! I'm going down!!!

Fox McCloud: Nice shooting, Slippy.

Peppy Hare: I didn't know you had it in ya.

Slippy Toad: YEAH!!! See guys, I always pull through in the end.

Fox McCloud: Sure you do, Slip for brains........ I mean, you sure do, Slippy.

Nictel: My ship! My beautiful, precious ship! YARRRGGGHHHH.......
