    Final Words:

Just before General Hankerchief finished tallying the results of the voting, Azathoth called an immediate assembly of all PEXDET members at the center of the encampment.

My fellow revolutionaries, I know I have been less than the ideal Communist. So I'm not going to employ ingenious rhetoric or make eloquent remonstrations to try to save my own life. I won't even use my final moments to warn you about my top suspects, because many of us have been responsible for ideologically unsound behavior, too many to consider such behavior a criterion for lynching, unless the nationalists and Japanese already outnumber the true Communists. I do have one piece of advice: apathy is death. Thusly do the condemnations of only five brothers, a mere tenth of our number, seal my fate. I am certain of my own innocence, and for years I have worked to towards the realization of Mao's ultimate goal, a perfect communist utopia. I still believe that such a thing is inevitable, as long as the contradiction that is the bourgeoisie-sustained class system continues to exist. My only regret is that I will not live to see it. But I digress. It may be that I was needlessly aggressive in my accusation of Comrade Beefy; I'd suspected him because of personal prejudices and briefly cast aside our common principles and doctrine to indulge that more primitive part of our minds. But the fact, the sheer fact, that....ugh...my greatest fear is that the reactionary elements among us will take advantage of your complacency. Please do not let this happen.

Long live our fairly elected Chairman!

Long live our dear Comrade Mao!

    For the eternal Revolution!

Azathoth stepped down from the invisible podium and nodded to GH, who hesitantly stepped forward to take his place and, quite reluctantly, announced the results of the voting.
