Is there a technical fix or is it Europa Barbrorum telling me I play too much and need to quit the campaign?
Is there a technical fix or is it Europa Barbrorum telling me I play too much and need to quit the campaign?
Do you have a spinning hour-glass? Is it repeatable? Can you come across that turn by not-activating the script?
Might be useful if you upload a save, please tell what version, sub-mods and which exe you are playing.

There is no spinning hour-glass, it is just on the rebels turn and the rebels seem to think they are me and don't have any obligation to end their turn. I tried exiting the game and it has chosen to repeat itself. I also tried not activating the script, the rebels still seem to think they are the human and get to pick their turn length. This is version 1.2, I have no submods in either EB or Rome Total War, the year is 230 BC, I own Italy, Sicily, two gallic provinces, two Spanish provinces, 3 Balkan provinces and three Asian provinces, I am creating enclaves to prevent the powerful (Egypt+Epirus) from becoming the only competition.
What do you mean by upload a save?
Are the fixes installed?
By uploading a save-game you give me the chance to check your specific problem on my build and try if I can get around it. Afterwards I would upload a fixed save.

The fixes are not installed, should I install them? How do I upload a save game? Forgive my ignorance, I am a history nerd but a computer idiot.
now on another game there is the spinning hourglass.
Definitely! You can find them linked in my signature or in the technical subforum. Just install them if you are on 1.2 (you can see that in the main menu, showing in the right bottom corner).
It is hard to see the links in the new forum design, so here is the thread I talked about: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showt...ost-a-SaveGame
Just upload a save before the crash occurs, you will find them in EB\saves
