HELP!! Missing file error

I keep getting a CTD b/c the game is looking for a file called:

ebsprite_hellenistic_infantry_uazali_merc_001.tga

but this file seems not to be in the folder where it is supposed to be or anywhere else...

Can anyone make any suggestions?

Please run validation.bat found in your RTW folder and post your results here (if you run on 1.2), maybe your installation is corrupted.
Are you using Vista/Win7 and installed RTW+EB under Program Files?

Actually Running 1.1 on XP in its own folder in root directory (i.e. NOT in program files). Ran ValidateInstall and the text file had no results...it appeared blank...

The validation will not help in this case, as you are running on 1.1 and the validation gets its parameters from a 1.2 build.
I'm not sure if there was a sprite fix for 1.1, either way I got no access to this anymore.
You receive this crash if you want to enter a battle while in once of the armies is the Uazali Infantry present? If yes, use auto_win to get the result you would have achieved if fighting manually.

A other option would be to extract the 1.1 installer to a temporal folder and look if the file is just missing in your build.
