    Default Ebay

Anyone buy/sell on Ebay? I just love this site. I do not have much luck selling here, I prefer Amazon for such things, but I do like buying things off this site (books, games, toy soldiers, pimp canes ) etc.....

Those with fast internet connections and a lot of time on their hands could theoretically buy any videogame on the market for <$5.

I love Ebay! I do alot of shopping there when the funds allow it! I have an obsession with used clothes and shoes! Lately, I have been buying old photographs of Judy Garland! My personal favorite antique woman/girlfriend! :D

Mrs. Lemur races bicycles, and we have saved thousands of dollars by buying secondhand pro equipment. For example, her main racing bike would have been around seven grand if all the bits and pieces were bought new, but we found a pro biker unloading it for fifteen hundred dollars. (I think he was given the bike, so it was all found money to him. Had he actually paid for the gear, I don't think he would have parted with it at that price.)

I used to suss out rare books on Ebay, but frankly, that's a too-expensive hobby I'm trying to drop.

I sold all my old WH40k figures and bits and pieces via ebay - it was a sad day.

I've sold all sorts of stuff on there from cars to books to network cables - it's a good site IMHO because of the amount of potential customers you can reach. Only had about 2 bad transactions in 500 sales/purchases, but you do have to look out for scammers, shilling and "imaginative" descriptions of items.

All the good stuff is in 'merica, and shipping here is too expensive.

Its like $50AUD whereas the same thing from england is $4AUD and arrives 2 weeks earlier.

I've bough many of my man-child treasures (transformers and Star Wars figures) from ebay. From what I've heard MANY sellers on ebay artificially jack-up shipping costs for overseas. Mostly because they have to fill out a customs form. Ebay has tried to crack down on it by "encouraging" sellers to use USPS/UPS/FEDEX calculators for overseas shipping.
