Because of Diana. We had a conversation once about you always knowing if she's mafia or not. When she turned up dead and I saw your vote, that jumped into my head. It makes sense that I might kill her because of that if I were mafia.

Not just that. Killing Split and Diana removes two key people who would be unlikely to lynch me right away. It's quite ingenious actually... which makes me a whole lot easier to lynch.

So I look through the list of players I find most likely to try that kind of strategy, and the names come up: Renata, Beskar, and a couple others.

Essentially, you're correct. But the choice to kill Diana instead of me smacks of knowing to leave me alive as lynchbait, and again that leads to Renata and Beskar, imo.

    As you wish.

    Unvote, vote: Beskar

However, I still say Renata is scummy for the same reasons.

This is where I had it, but I lost it. I should have stuck with my original suspicions.

You can tell they are guilty because they were both online for almost the entire second half of this round, agreeing with each other.

    Wrong.

I prefer Diana to you, I would have killed you first and I definitely would never kill Diana to get at you.

You have a history of saying things that you'd never do as mafia, while doing them.

I was just about to post that I never make it a practice to say I'd never do something.

vote: landlubber Civplayah's getting crap for lurking, but landlubber's worse. He hasn't posted since his vote on Pinman yesterday that came without any actual rationale.

I apologize, I've been a little busy lately.
Beskar's vote for himself seems very odd, especially in a vanilla game. So, I will Vote:Beskar.

    Vote: Beskar

    1) Because I am still stuck on the idea that him and ArpeggiateTHIS were/are the mafia
    2) For the reasons stated by Pizza against Beskar and Renata
    3) For the self vote

You've played with me a long time. You know that I'm never very vocal. But that doesn't mean that I'm not active. I do think a lot about possible mafioso and run scenarios in my head, I just don't post them publicly, or most often than not, I don't share my suspicions with anyone. But I don't usually post more than 1 or two times a phase.

My apologies, but I'm going to have to delay the writeup until tomorrow morning.

    When?

I know I said "I don't do that as a mafia", I get lynched or night killed, and I go "told you so".

So mafia don't use me as a lynch target constantly, and I have to battle the hordes of bad arguments which will end up with us losing the game, because they cannot accept I am not guilty.

Chillax man, it is a vanilla game with a small number of people. It's not a personal slight when people vote for you... and I really don't know what kind of case you're expecting. I seriously do not. There's not like a detective is about to reveal stuff.
